Employee Training and Development
TM offers training programmes for its employees at five regional TM Training Colleges. Employees are required to undergo at least 40 hours of training a year, and in 2008 the company spent RM98.9 million training 40,548 staff from top management to non-executives. High achievers are further enrolled in a development programme that involves coaching, job rotation, special assignments and training. TM also provides scholarships to employees to further their studies both locally and internationally. In 2008, 73 staff took this opportunity to study at local and foreign universities. [Read more...]
